On January 19, 2011, BHMI presented its Concourse — Transaction Messaging System™ (Concourse — TMS™), a high volume online transaction processing (OLTP) communications middleware, to HP NonStop customers in Korea.
The presenters for this event were the President of BHMI, Dr. Lynne Baldwin, and the Senior Vice President of Software Development, Michael Meeks. During the presentation, BHMI highlighted the following benefits of Concourse — TMS:
Preserves a company’s existing application investment in HP NonStop S-series and Itanium platforms
- Replaces and enhances existing middleware infrastructure with minimal costs
- Allows migration with minimal application changes and no processing disruptions
- Supports multiple virtual networks distributed over disparate sets of shared platforms
- Creates new applications that utilize Concourse — TMS and its application framework capabilities
- Unifies HP NonStop Guardian and OSS environments
- Extends application-to-application communication across HP Integrity NonStop, UNIX®, Linux, and Windows platforms
“It was an honor being invited by HP to present a new option for communications middleware to its NonStop customers in Korea”, commented Lynne Baldwin, President of BHMI. “Concourse — TMS can offer significant feature and cost benefits. For example, Concourse — TMS will allow these companies to get maximum value from the significant investments they have already made in software and will also allow them to take advantage of newer technology products. As a result, the presentation was well received by HP and its NonStop customers.”
